Does not make enough froth for two cups.Heat milk after frothing and it increases in size but still not enough for two cups unless you are using just a small amount on each.Not as easy to hold on to as the larger one with the handle ( borke the one I had ) which I seem unable to find anywhere.Vendor is trying to find larger one for me, worth shopping this vendor just for the service.

La Cafetiere Battery Milk Frother Review

I now have fantastic coffees and frappuccinos, thanks to the frother. It takes 15 seconds to clean it most times, but every once in a while, it takes about 45 seconds to clean the cream/milk that sticks to the frothing wheel. Overall, a great purchase!

Bodum Mousse One-Touch Battery Operate Milk Frother Review

Like the first 3 reviewers i was annoyed when my milk hardly frothed ( i was used to the handheld aerolatte)and sulked for 2 weeks! I finally took the manual out to read again and realised that i needed to adjust the spring mesh to the amount of milk i had in the beaker.i.e: if i poured milk up to the max. line of the beaker, i needed to move the curved part (middle) of the mesh up, so that it sits on the surface of milk. like wise if i put less milk, lower the curve of the mesh. it is important that the mesh sits on the surface of the milk. BonJour Milk Frother, Silver Review

I bought this frother, along with the white as a gift because I have one and use it all the time.They are amazing and a great investment for $10.Not only does this frother work great for coffee, but it is very handy for other things.I make my kids instant breakfast drinks in the morning using a powdered mix along with a protein powder.Rather than dragging out my blender, I just stir the drink with my frother.It has no problem mixing everything completely and the kids like the "froth".I've also used it to "destroy" some flour lumps in gravy when I didn't get it mixed in completely.It whips eggs for scrambled eggs.Granted, it's not high powered enough for some jobs, but overall, this frother is one of the best $10 gadgets I have ever bought.At this point, I'd be lost in the morning without it!!

Bodum Shin Bistro 5-Ounce Milk Frother Review

I have had my Bodum frother for about three years (older model than this one, black plastic top) and have had no problems with it other than my husband hitting the top rim with something and chipping the glass.I smoothed it out with an emery board nail file and it is fine, but that prompted me to look on Amazon to see if they still sold them so that I could order a backup but they are a little pricey now; I think I paid only about $10 for mine.

Many people have criticized this product because the glass broke and it seems many people are using metal spoons with it. To me it is common sense when dealing with a thin glass product such as this to use a plastic utensil if you need one. One of those long handled plastic spoons like you get at an ice cream shop work well. I usually just pour my froth out and wait a few seconds with a couple of little shakes which gets most of it out.

I always heat the milk (or half & half which I use most of the time) in the microwave first right in the beaker,then do the pumping and have had no problems doing it that way.I actually think heated milk froths better and creates a finer froth.Many people are under the false impression that heated milk won't froth but I think this is because most of the instructions on frothing are for espresso machines where it is always suggested to use very cold milk before steaming and frothing. But this is because of the heating factor with the hot steam. You have to use cold milk or you won't have enough time to froth before the milk reaches the ideal temperature.If you used preheated milk it would quickly overheat using hot steam to froth.So I think because of this many people assume that you need cold milk for any kind of frothing.

My Bodum has held up extremely well over the years that I have used it but I am careful with it and never put it in the dishwasher. I always immediately rinse both the wand and beaker, fill with a little warm water and detergent, then pump a few times to disperse the detergent. I then rinse well and air dry.I rarely take it apart to clean. Once in awhile I use a very soft brush to clean the screen.

This little frother is both convenient and stress free, no worrying about timing, or temperature, as with the espresso machine wands.You just pump for as long as you want until you're happy with the volume of your froth, which you can easily see because of the clear glass.

Aerolatte To Go, Milk Frother, Black Review

It really makes good froth for your coffee.

I find it more consistent if I froth cold milk first, then nuke it for about 10 seconds. This way the froth stays "solid" instead of melting away (at least that's the way I like it).

I take it to work and whenever I travel, too. I've been using my extra sets of reachargeable batteries, cos the batteries that came with it only lasted me probably less than a month (I've been using this frother 3x a day since January).

Aerolatte Milk Frother, Satin Finish Review

I just got the box from Amazon, pulled out my new Aerolatte, removed the protective cover from the battery compartment (yeah, it even comes pre-loaded with a pair of "aerolatte" double A's!), and put about 2 oz of NON-FAT (skim) milk in a glass.

I nuked the milk for about 20 seconds, pulled it from the microwave, stuck the aerolatte in the glass and pushed the switch.

DANG!!

Nearly INSTANT foam. GOBS of it. It formed PEAKS!! You could make small milk-animals out of it.

I really can't believe how well this thing works. The only thing that would ruin it for me is if it simply fell apart after a few uses, but frankly, with a little bit of care, it looks like it'll hold up. We'll see.

But in the meantime, call me Doctor Foam.

Notwithstanding the complaints of people who claim that their aerolatte lasted about 5 minutes, I just replaced the batteries for the first time since buying it back in January. (Yes, it still works, but I was disappointed that I was no longer able to make foam-animals!)

Well a couple of fresh Duracells later, and I sound like a deranged dentist with this thing in my hand. The "buzz" I had become accustomed to, is now a high-pitched whizzing sound, that actually made my molars uncomfortable.

But I'm back to making some seriously decent foam again!
